My struggle was a little real... |
...but I made it! |
The clan eating Thai...let's play the "Where's Audrey" game |
Anyways, in this look the main piece for me was this gorgeous Zara scarf. I bought this on boxing day and I have barely been able to take it off since. I'm usually into layering my necklaces (which I couldn't quite part with as you can see), but as it gets a little chillier I find that scarves are much more practical while still being incredibly chic. This blanket scarf is not only the largest and coziest item of clothing I've ever owned, but the thickness adds some amazing dimension and texture to any outfit, and the simple black and white check print is minimal enough that it doesn't overpower anything else in the outfit. I could probably even get away with wearing this scarf with a print...
Scarf | Zara (similar)
Button Up | J. Crew
Jeans | Old Navy
Booties | Target (old)
Coat | H&M (similar)

Star Necklace | Dogeared

Lip Stick | Nars
Thank you so much for reading! Talk to you later...

I am absolutely in love with that scarf! Dainty necklaces are also a favorite of mine :) Girl, you really know how to strut as I love the pictures of you walking across the street, and I applaud you for doing a split. Bravo, bravo. If I were still my ballet years that would have been a possibility, but now I'm as stiff as a stick-haha! Your friend Zachary sounds like such an amazing, accomplished person, and he sure knows how to take some great pictures :)

Great outfit! The scarf really stands out. Looks lovely on you! I'm totally into scarfs at the moment, also because they help me overcome the London weather. haha
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment btw, really meant a lot to me. :) I'm glad you like posts. Sometimes I feel like not many bother to read haha.
I had a look at your photos modelling your friend's collection. You remind me a little of model Leah Weller. :) x
Thanks so much! And no problem. I've read your blog for such a long time and never commented, so I figured it was the least I could do. And I have to admit I just had to google Leah Weller, but that's a huge compliment thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteThanks Emily! Yeah the Dogeared necklace was a Christmas gift from two years ago and I was so psyched when I got it! They're super nice necklaces...I might have to splurge and get myself another one :) You danced? I'm actually super into ballet that's so awesome!
ReplyDeleteThanks Carla!
ReplyDeleteI was really into ballet for a good five to six years, and then I moved, so the commute to my dance teacher was too far every week :( My mom keeps telling me that my posture used to be so great and now she wishes I kept on doing ballet-haha You really have the perfect figure for ballet!
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this outfit, Audrey- the scarf, coat, sunglasses, booties.. I love it all!!! Hope Zachary had a wonderful birthday!

ReplyDeleteThat sucks that you stopped, but it's so awesome to find other ballet dancer bloggers! I just followed you on my ballet Insta...yay compartmentalizing my life!
ReplyDeleteAnd I dance like 6 days a week and somehow still have terrible posture lol ;D
ReplyDeleteVery chic and comfy-looking outfit! Kind of want Zachary to be my friend now after reading all the praise about him :) Sounds like you guys had a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteThanks Danielle!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! Yeah...I talk him up just a little bit :) What else are friends for?
