Best Dressed at the Grammy's 2014

For the past 56 years, the Grammy's was the event where the music industry got to show their amazing fashion and beyond beautiful gowns. It was at the Grammy's that the world realized that the best musicians can rival the best actors and actresses of Hollywood, stunning in couture gowns from Giorgio Armani to Elie Saab to Naeem Kahn.

However, this year was an exception.

There was an outstanding number of ghastly or just plain underwhelming dresses, leaving the best dressed list surprisingly barren. Of course, there were still the stunners as I mentioned before, but they were just a bit harder to find.

And now, in no particular order, the best dressed of the 56th annual Grammy Awards!

1. Beyonce Knowles in Michael Costello

Does this really need an explanation? Beyonce is flawless, as always, in a white, mesh, floral gown. If this was anyone else, we'd be blushing at the amount of skin showing in this long sleeved full length gown, but at this point we're used to it with Queen Bey.

2. Amber Rose in Naeem Kahn

I don't think Wiz Khalifa's beautiful wife is a frequent flyer on award show best dressed lists, but boy did she stun at this years Grammy's. This gold Naeem Kahn number is almost reminiscent of Gatsby-esque glamour, but with a fresh contemporary twist.

3. Alicia Keys in Armani Prive

Alicia Keys is always one of my personal favorites--so much beauty and love and talent all in one package. With this stunning cobalt gown she showed everyone how to rock the daringly low neckline, and oohhhh those hips!

4. Anna Kendrick in Azzaro

Okay. Seriously, how flawless is Anna Kendrick? This Azzaro is stunningly sexy, while remaining classy and not showing an uncomfortable amount of skin. The embellishments are beautiful, and this dress anticipates the caged plunging necklines as one of the biggest trends of 2014. Plus, the metallic clutch and shoes add a perfect final touch.

5. Ciara in Emilio Pucci

I love when someone can rock a baby bump, and as we saw on Olivia Wilde at the Globes, shimmering bodycon is the way to do it. What better way to show off your growing bundle of joy than in a bodycon dress? And as demonstrated on the lovely Anna Kendrick, the caged plunging neckline is definitely going to be a thing.

6. Iggy Azalea in Elie Saab

As she said herself, rappers are seldom seen in an elegant Elie Saab number in the red carpet, but boy are we glad Iggy decided to be the first. Straight from the Paris couture shows, this dress really is a masterpiece, and with minimal hair, makeup, and accessories, Iggy Azalea nailed this look.

7. Katy Perry in Valentino

I think this fresh off the runway Valentino dress was definitely the most daring of the night, but a stunner nonetheless. The musical theme was quite appropriate for the Grammy's, and she definitely looked like the roaring princess she is.

8. Kelly Osbourne in Bagdley Mischka

When is Kelly Osbourne not amazing? This Fashion Policewoman is always strutting her stuff in the most gorgeous couture gowns to be found, and is never left off the best dressed list. I mean between the,\ intricately embellished shoulders, a cape, beautiful rings galore, a blod pink lip, and that Kelly Osbourne smize, how could you go wrong?

9. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis in Mr. Turk

Usually guys don't make it on my best dressed list, but I have to salute these guys for being creative (as they always are) with their Grammy's attire. While so many guys show up in a dashing black tux, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis knocked everyone's socks off with a completely fabulous houndstooth, velour, and sparkly-loafered getup. I'm not saying that they were the only guys with creative outfits, but they're definitely the only ones who succeeded in this daring look.

10. Rita Ora in Lanvin

Rita Ora is known for her daring red carpet looks, but this one was stylishly safe. However, she still looked flawless as usual, rocking a smoky-eye and retro blonde curls. As safe as it was, this dress was still a stunner.

11. Taylor Swift in Gucci

This is a recipe for disaster. Taylor Swift and Gucci are two things that I generally don't like, and hearing the two in the same sentence leaves a bad taste in my mouth. However, I could not have been more surprised by this combination. Taylor Swift looks simply ravishing in this sparkly Gucci number, and the mesh and bejeweled accents make this gown oh-so-chic. Who knew that this combination would be so beautiful?

Almost but not quite: P!nk

P!nk earned herself an "almost but not quite" spot on my best dressed list because of a few reasons. I actually love her makeup, hair, and dress. This lady knows how to do F-I-E-R-C-E. However, the dress was either in a wrong size, didn't fit her frame, or both. Either way, this amazing dress went to waste and looked terrible on P!nk. Her jewelry also bugged me a bit--she should've had simpler, more minimalistic earrings and bracelet or gone completely statement, but the style doesn't match her dress.

What are your thoughts? Is there anyone you think is missing from this list or unworthy of their spot?
